Please read the description first

I promised myself that this is going to be the last 'romantic' pic, while it last. This time, I drew this picture because I want to tell you why I like this pairing... a lot. I must warn you, I am a very bad writer.

About the picture
This is the sequel to my previous BBxRae pic, TT - Dance With Me. Beast Boy held Raven's hand, and as he leaned forward, Raven tried to protest. But BB kept getting closer, "Beast Boy," said Raven in tremble, "I'm not afraid anymore Raven." Before Raven could protest again, Beast Boy pressed his lips againts hers. Neither of them tried to retreat. For the first time in Raven's life, she felt happiness. They both were happy.

Okay, I wasn't trying to writer a fic actually. I just had to tell how the kiss happened. So, this is my first 'kissing' picture. I couldn't believe myself that I actually made one. I've always tried to stay away from kissing picture, but I've broken my own promise. I don't know what to say but, I think this pic is too shiny, don't you think? Well, I'm sorry if it hurts your eyes. I'll try not to over use the brightness next time.

About the pairing
I like cartoons, no matter what type of cartoon it is, (anime or western cartoons) I enjoy watching it as long as it has 'silly' humor. To tell you the truth, I've never liked to pair two characters and ship them. I thought that it was the most ridiculous thing to do in my life. But, Teen Titans was the first show that got me into shipping.

When I first saw the Teen Titans, I thought to myself "Huh, another Kids Next Door show? Hmmm, maybe I'll give it a chance." My first TT episode was 'Switched', but I was still a casual fan back then. As the years past, I realized that the characters had evolved, and there was some actual seriousness/logic to the stories they were telling. It's not only about a group of young superheroes kicking the villains' butt, eat pizza, and watch TV, it's also about their friendship/relationship.

At first, I began to like the Rob/Rae pairing. I skipped season three, which was ashame. 'Birthmark' was the first episode that got me into Rob/Rae pairing. I said to myself "Hmmm, Robin and Raven? It could work." I explored the pairing, and somehow I found out that it was a mistake I made. If Raven were to date Robin, it'd be like dating herself. Both of them have a very similar personalities. Both of them are self-dependant, and both of them respect each other. But I knew deep down that 'balance' is needed for a couple.

Then I saw 'Spellbound' for the first time back in February this year. After the 'hug' scene at the end of the episode, I started to think about this pairing. Raven and Beast Boy, who could have thought about it? Yes, I know that they are completely opposite. That's why I think they're 'perfect' for each other. Raven is a girl who always hide her emotions. She fears that her power could go haywire if she doesn't keep it hidden. While Beast Boy; the complete opposite of Raven, is a very cheerful green teenage boy who likes to tell lame jokes everyday. I know that BB likes to get on Raven's nerve, but that's what makes this couple fun to watch. Beast Boy tries to make Raven happy by telling her jokes, win her a Giant Chicken' in 'Sisters', and many sort of things just to make her happy. I believe that Raven deserves a happy time with someone. Especially after the whole Trigon-mess. I believe that if someone wants to see her happy, it would be Beast Boy.

We (BB/Rae shippers) use the term "Opposites Attract" a lot. Because it actually does. Now to my personal life. I used to have a crush on a girl who is/was the opposite of me. You may not know me, but I'm actually a very quite guy. I don't like to talk much when I'm in a group of people. I'm talking about the REAL life here, not the internet. The girl who I had a crush on was a talkactive girl. To be honest, she annoyed me sometimes, just like Beast Boy annoying Raven. But, somehow, I was attracted to her. It was because of her that made me become more mature. But, fate was not on my side. She left the country a few months ago with her family. And I didn't have the time to tell her how I feel about her.

When I ship a pairing, I only ship that couple alone. I don't like any of my pairing to be paired with other character(s). If I ship Rob/Rae and BB/Rae, it makes me feel like I'm being a Raven fanboy, and doesn't care about Robin and Beast Boy. Obviously, my two favourite characters are Beast Boy and Raven. When I discuss about my favourite pairing with the other shippers (BB/T, Rob/Rae, Rob/Star), I like to actually discuss it with Rob/Rae shippers rather than BB/Terra or Rob/Star shippers. Because most of the time, BB/Rae and Rob/Rae shippers are able to explain the reasons without using the show for evidence. Sometimes, BB/Terra and Rob/Star shippers annoy me because they tend to take the 'obvious' thing on the show. I've heard one of the Rob/Star shippers use this excuse, "Watch the show you louzy Rob/Rae shippers! Robin and Starfire do love each other! The writers said so!", same with BB/Terra shippers "BB love Terra you crazy BB/Rae fans!11!! They almost kissed in 'Betrayal'! Hah!!! Terra is coming back! Hah!!" That's what makes them weak, and look immature. I'm not saying all of them are like that though, do respect some of them.

I would write more if I want to, but I'm afraid I've completely bored you with my long and boring rants. So, I hope ya'll digs the picture. It's dedicated to all my fellow BB/Rae fans.
